During the manufacturing process, we ensure your tumble dryer is thoroughly tested so there is no leaks to internal componants after you have installed your appliance.
If you experience any leaking before or during your first use, it is most likely due to there being water still in the tumble dryer from the testing process.
Please also check the water supply connection (from both sides) as well as the drain hose itself.

There appears to be no electrical supply to my tumble dryer
Please check the socket that your appliance was plugged in in by using another piece of equipment, this will ensure that the issue does not lie with the socket rather than the appliance itself.
Your tumble dryer comes fitted with a 13 amp 3 pin plug and also the lead, so please make sure that the right rating of fuse is being used with this.
We do not recommend the use of the appliance with an extension lead.
Please also ensure that the start or on/off switch is in the correct position, and that the door is properly closed.

My dial is not rotating
On certain Whirlpool models the dryer programmer does not rotate. Instead, a series of progress indicator lights illuminate to advise the user of the dryer status.

Can I stack my Whirlpool tumble dryer onto my washing machine?
Whirlpool tumble dryers are designed to be fitted onto the top of some of our Whirlpool washing machines. This stacking process must only be completed using one of our genuine stacking kits.

F06 — Door lock fault
Issue: Tumble Dryer door cannot be opened or closed / when the door is closed the machine the programme will not start.
Advice: If your tumble dryer door will not close, please check for any obstructions in the door lock. If the fault still remains then we recommend you call our customer service centre to book an engineer on: 0344 822 4224
